"Halloween" is a poem written by the Scottish poet Robert Burns in 1785. First published in 1786, the poem is included in the Kilmarnock volume. It is one of Burns' longer poems, and employs a mixture of Scots and English. Above the beginning of the poem text into modern English.

Robert Burns (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796) was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide. He is the best known of the poets who have written in the Scots language, although much of his writing is also in English and a light Scots dialect. He is regarded as a pioneer of the Romantic movement.




"Halloween" è una poema scritto dal poeta scozzese Robert Burns nel 1785. Pubblicato la prima volta nel 1786, il poema è incluso nel volume Kilmarnock. Si tratta di uno dei poemi più lunghi di Burns. Sopra l'inizio del poema tradotto in inglese moderno. 

Robert Burns (25 gennaio 1759 - 21 Luglio 1796) è stato il più grande poeta scozzese universalmente considerato come il poeta nazionale e celebrato in tutto il mondo. Scrisse in in lingua scozzese ma anche in inglese. Burns è considerato un pioniere del movimento romantico.
